Here at Kildare we offer lessons for all ages starting as young as 5yrs old, and all level of riders from brand new to experienced. Our team of coaches are able to match each rider with the right horse for their needs
New Rider Lessons
We offer lessons for anyone new to riding, no matter the age, we have a horse suitable for you! All new riders start out in private lessons to get one-on-one attention from your coach. The goal is to teach the foundations of riding. Once acheived, riders are encouraged to move into group lessons with other riders at the same stage of learning.
Horse Showing
Our Competitive Lesson Program was set up in 2014 for our Boarders and Part-boarders who are looking to prepare for horse show season and attend horse shows with the Kilare show team. At the School barn, ie. North farm, our riders and schoolies compete on the Schooling Circuit and the KHJA Circuit. It is mandatory to Part-board a schoolie in order to horse show with us.
The North farm showing program maxes out at the 2'6 height.
